There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.
Tobias has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, manager, CFO and investor. He began his professional career in banking before moving on to the corporate world and joining 1&1 in 2003. There, Tobias built up the Controlling team for Global Hosting (now Ionos) and gained some initial experience in M&A.
In 2008, Tobias went to HEG. As Group CFO, he played a significant part in the company's growth to becoming the second largest mass hosting provider in Europe. After three successful private equity rounds, strong organic growth, and over 25 acquisitions, HEG was finally sold to global market leader GoDaddy in 2017.
As CFO, Tobias spent four years overseeing GoDaddy's International Business as well as Partners, Domains and Registry among other things, before joining Equivia as a partner in 2021. In addition to financial expertise, Tobias has a strong focus on operations.
